In this autumn winter 2021, when the covid 4th wave has passed and we are already told the 5th wave, we invite you to discover the partner brands of the sixth edition of our exhibition "Le Off des Indépendants".
If the "sanitary" situation allows it, we will revive the spirit of the convivial evenings to which we have invited you in the past!
As I wrote last year, a watch must be seen, touched, looked at, "studied" with care and put on the wrist! So you will know if it is right for you or not. Some brands are rare on the market, even almost impossible to find. Our credo is to introduce you to rare or original brands and watches. We invite you to discover them every year in our boutique, during our exhibition "Le OFF des Indépendants" where you mainly find unusual watches.
The concept of this exhibition is to offer in Paris a presentation of independent watch brands in order to compensate for the disappearance of the general public fairs which had taken place in Paris until 2015. For six years already!
Every fall since 2016, the Fréret-Roy boutique has organized an original exhibition of independent watch brands, in the form of a "cabinet of curiosity" where certain brands come to exhibit during the exhibition which generally begins between mid and late November for usually end in mid or late February of the following year. Most brands decide to stay throughout the year and become permanent partners of the store, except those that only produce very limited editions or on demand.
Our permanent partners each have their own page on our site, you will find them under their brand name. Others are not exhibited full time, but are available to order in our boutique, such as watches from Maison Schwarz Etienne or the brand new Lorige brand.

Espléndidos Scott Jacobs
In this incomparable case, a reinterpretation of a period case from the Art Deco years between 1920 and 1930 with a very recognizable iconic style, Cuervo y Sobrinos teamed up with famous American artist Scott Jacobs, widely known for painting Harley Davidson motorcycles. This new creation, limited to 100 pieces, is adorned with a 1939 Knucklehead Bobber motorcycle on its dial. !
Scott Jacobs, a famous American artist with a passion for vintage motorcycles, is widely known for painting Harley Davidsons, including the pre-war EL Knucklehead.
THEa Knucklehead was produced from 1936 to 1947, however, coveted by legions of Harley-Davidson enthusiasts, it is the pre-war examples that remain the most attractive. Scott met two such enthusiasts, Patrick and Cris Simmons, who shared his passion for the iconic American brand. They owned a 1939 Knucklehead Bobber. Although this bike differed from its original factory specs, its bright blue and yellow paint, “mud flaps and studded tires” drew many admiring glances.
The face of the Espléndidos Scott Jacobs watch served as a horological canvas for the American artist to express his creativity. First, Scott produced an original work in full size. This work was subsequently reproduced in miniature form using a special 4-color laser printing technique. Each dazzling shade of the 1939 Knucklehead Bobber is beautifully represented on the distinctive dial of the watch.

Each Brake Late "BL-Endurance" contains a thrilling moment of battle for first place. At the highest level of motorsport, victory is commonly contested in the braking phases during which the brakes can reach temperatures of over 900 ° C with decelerations of 200 km / h in just 2s. CALIBER LOR-PR01
Made in the purest Swiss watchmaking tradition, our Swiss Made automatic movement with a peripheral rotor is made up of 294 parts meticulously assembled by our craftsmen to form the heart of each BL-Endurance.
The BL-Endurance "Gray Circuit" is the first version of the Lorige Endurance range.
With its micro-billed titanium, and its carbon / carbon case from the 24h of Le Mans (3rd in LMP2) and the 6h of Fuji (1st in LMP2), it recalls the ferocity of the race.
The LOR-PR01 caliber, specially developed for the model, has a peripheral mass and a power reserve indicator. The indexes and hands filled with Super-Luminova Orange blend perfectly with the set.
Second version of the BL-Endurance, the “24h Blue” in a more formal spirit thanks in particular to the satin-finishing and polishing on the titanium of the external parts. The blue treatment of the caliber LOR-PR02 bridges has been specially developed to match the body of the LMP2 prototype entered by United Autosports.

Yachtman Club
The new Yachtman Club rejuvenates the iconic Paul Picot model, the variants of which feature a new ceramic bezel more or less colorful depending on the versions offered on a steel or rubber strap.
Since 1987, the Yachtman watch has reigned supreme in Italian regattas. The Yachtman Club has been an icon of yachting in Italy for decades and in 2021 was a partner of the boat "E Vai Pertot" which won the trophy in its category at the last regatta "Barcolana" in Trieste!

A contemporary aesthetic approach and innovative technology give birth to a new model!
Guided by creativity and the desire to innovate in watchmaking, Perrelet's technical team gave birth to the new LAB PERIPHERAL DUAL TIME BIG DATE model. It has useful functions such as the second time zone with day-night indicator, very popular with globetrotters, and a large date window.
This timepiece remains faithful to the values and DNA of the brand with its signature "Luxury in movement". While the current collections present the classic Double Rotor or the Turbine, this latest creation offers a more discreet and refined animation on the dial and welcomes the new "casual-chic" style of the Perrelet collections.
The LAB PERIPHERAL DUAL TIME BIG DATE model comes in the form of a 42 mm x 42 mm stainless steel cushion case, waterproof to 5 ATM. Feel the experience of flying to space
Officially made from a metal piece of the “Soyuz-2.1а” space launcher and from the fabric of the Russian space suit “Sokol”, this 24-hour automatic watch brings you very close to the experience of flying to space.
This rocket took off on 14 October 2020 and made a record breaking 3 hour flight from the Baikonur launch pad to the ISS. The Russian cosmonauts who were in this rocket participated in the production of this watch. They both explained that the only crucial complication needed in space is a 24-hour movement to enable them to distinguish day from night in the ISS (where they have 16 sunrises and sunsets every 24 hours).
While you are still on Earth, you can wear this watch with a leather strap (offered with the watch). Both the “space suit” strap & the leather strap have a “quick-change” system so that you can easily change them depending on where you are: training on Earth or flying to Space!
This Raketa watch, limited to 300 pieces per dial, was produced at the Raketa Watch Factory in collaboration with the Russian space agency “Roscosmos”. It is delivered with an additional (leather) strap, the official insignia of this space mission, a brochure providing more detailed explanation and a certificate of Roscosmos (certifying the true origin of the rocket metal and the space suit fabric).

SNGLRTY has developed its unique and patented single hand time display system, which indicates both minutes and hours in one place on the watch face.
The watch features a counterclockwise rotating minutes disc, inspired by the reverse of a motor car. With the minutes moving backward, the hour, accurate to the minute, can be displayed in one place.
SNGLRTY is the shared vision of serial entrepreneur Stephen Mansfield, an engineer by training, and Daniel Blunschi, who has worked with Swiss watch brands for 30 years. One & Two Openworked HMS V3
September 2021, Geneva - Speake-Marin revisits its iconic piece Openworked Hours Minutes Seconds with a new version V3. The design is inspired by architecture and contemporary design, thus part of the One & Two collection which highlights the Speake-Marin house movements.
This new aesthetic follows the codes of the One & Two Openworked collection with a strong element at 1:30. For the SMA01 movement, this is the small seconds, making it possible to recognize an “in-house” SM movement. The goal is to show the movement of the interior and offer a very clean look.
In order to achieve this objective, a finishing with drawn lines (direction 1h30) was chosen on the plate versus a beading in the previous editions. The sunray Côtes de Genève have been retained to highlight the small seconds counter at 1:30, the vanishing point of the dial.
The objective of the One & Two Openworked collection is to play with light and shadows. The different surface treatments on the components create a wide spectrum of light reflection and add depth.
For this new version, the color black has been introduced on the triangle-shaped bridge and the small seconds counter to bring modernity. The Speake-Marin design studio is indeed inspired by contemporary architecture and design, particularly black architecture for its latest creations that can be found everywhere in megacities like London. The black color evokes power, elegance and sophistication.
Both very contemporary with the dial and classic with the case, this piece will delight watch connoisseurs who wish to assert their style and uniqueness with a daring choice that will set them apart from others. Only 58 pieces are available for this design: 38 in titanium and 20 in rose gold.
This new openwork “One & Two” presents the Caliber SMA01, which remains very thin and efficient by integrating its micro rotor with the bridges. This latest version has been reworked for more purity in the design, particularly at the level of the small seconds which is integrated into the movement without any ring thanks to a very sophisticated module. Each movement is COSC certified, ensuring the precision of this fully assembled and hand adjusted movement.
The SMA01 caliber has been optimized for this new V3 version and now includes a two-way wheel which allows winding in both directions of rotation.

After mobilizing the Chronode workshop (Jean-François Mojon), for the implementation of its X-Centric vision of watchmaking, Trilobe entrusted its new partner manufacture in La Chaux-de-Fonds with the task of re-architecting its automatic movement with micro-rotor.
