Terms of the so called “subscription” concept
or pre-order.
At the time of their initial presentation, our models are proposed in subscription or pre-order, at a very preferential price.
You order your watch at its launch price and wait for it to be produced. The production time, which is specified when you place your order, is usually between 6 and 9 months. Don't hesitate to take advantage of these "friendly prices" by ordering your watch under subscription!
Once the watch is in stock, the subscription price no longer applies. On most models, the 20% price difference corresponds approximately to the VAT paid to the French government.
But please note that the prices indicated on our website and in our store are direct prices. The day the brand is distributed in other stores and countries, prices will inevitably rise.

As Fréret-Roy 1818 watches are equipped with components such as movements, dials and hands produced in Switzerland, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that the significant rise in the value of the Swiss franc against the euro has led to a continuous increase in the price of our components over the last few years, as the value of the euro has continued to fall against the Swiss franc.
The CHF has risen sharply since 2022: after crossing the historic and fateful threshold of €1 = CHF1, the exchange rate fell to €0.95 against the CHF in October 2023, then to €0.92/CHF in January 2024! In other words, the CHF had risen by more than 10% over two years. After recovering slightly, the euro collapsed again, to around €0.92-0,93/CHF, excluding exchange and customs fees!
This exchange rate evolution has a significant negative impact on the prices of our Fréret-Roy 1818 watches, which explains the recent price increases of our models. For the record, the €/CHF exchange rate was around 1.50 in the early 2000s!

Modified Valjoux caliber,
entirely cut and skeletonized, see through, black-finished. Four counters, floating small seconds, date on counter at 3 o'clock.
Exclusive, patented, extremely slim open dial, without seconds counter, available in two colors: black or brushed anthracite.
Delivered on alligator strap with folding clasp.

Notre boîtier 120H exclusif en acier satiné à la main, a été conçu spécifiquement pour ce modèle. L'épaisseur de la montre, inférieure à 12,60 mm, est très raisonnable compte tenu des complications et de la réserve de marche très élevée. Le verre saphir plat est traité anti reflet et le fond transparent permet d'admirer le calibre dont la décoration très soignée, recto et verso.
Le calibre fabriqué par MHVJ, Manufacture Horlogère de la Vallée de Joux, qui équipe ce modèle 120Heures, n'est plus produit actuellement du fait de son coût de production très élevé.
Il s'agit donc d'un "collector" dont il ne nous reste que quelques pièces en stock! Alors, ne tardez pas!
