"Raketa Ekranoplan 0287"
Between sky and sea!
Built by the Soviet Union in the early 1980s as an experimental coastal defense craft - half plane, half boat - the Ekranoplan can be considered one of the most extraordinary and unusual machines ever created by man. The Ekranoplan combined the best qualities of a ship and an airplane: it could move as much cargo as a boat and could fly as fast as an airplane, reaching speeds of 500 km/h. It flew at distances of up to 2,000 km thanks to the “screen effect” that formed under its huge wings about 4 meters above the sea surface. This allowed it to move without being detected by radar. Its name “Lun” translates from Russian as “the harrier”, and not without reason, as this bird of prey is known for its hunting in silent low-altitude flight.
A witness of the past
The only Ekranoplan Lun ever built lies today on a beach of the Caspian Sea near the city of Derbent (Russia), as a lonely reminder of the past achievements of the Soviet people. Its gigantic size, unique features and strange design are a testament to the strength and originality of Soviet engineering. Even today, almost fifty years after its design, it looks extremely futuristic.
A watch that pays homage to
the Ekranoplan Lun
The Raketa watch manufacturer has always been inspired by the greatest human achievements. By launching this model, Raketa wishes to draw attention to the Ekranoplan Lun and thus contribute to its preservation.
A new 41.6 mm diameter case and steel bracelet have been specially designed for this model: their rough and virile design corresponds to the spirit of the Soviet Ekranoplan.
The Raketa “Ekranoplan” model has several links with the Ekranoplan Lun: - the rotating bezel insert is made from a piece of the Ekranoplan Lun metal, officially handed over to the Raketa Manufactory by the city of Derbent (which is in charge of preserving the Ekranoplan); - the double zero on the dial recalls the front view of the Ekranoplan with the two circular containers above the cockpit.
the design of the compass signs on the bezel is inspired by the compass on the control panel located in the cockpit of the Ekranoplan; - an embossed image of the Ekranoplan is printed on the dial.
The case back reveals the Raketa 24-hour automatic movement, entirely manufactured by the Raketa watch manufacturer in Saint Petersburg.
Each watch comes with an additional leather strap.
The model is also available on request in a gift box including the Raketa “Ekranoplan” watch and its steel bracelet, an additional leather strap and the model of the Ekranoplan Lun on a scale of 1:400.

"Raketa Sputnik 1"
The dream of space conquest
A “Travel Companion” on your wrist!
(Sputnik means “travel companion” in Russian)
Equipped with the Raketa 24 H Avtomat 2624 caliber.
The launch of Sputnik-1 in 1957 marked the beginning of the space age, and its loud, repeated "Beep! Beep!" signals announced it to the entire planet!
Raketa watch "Sputnik-1" is launched in honor of the anniversary of the world's first artificial Earth satellite - Sputnik-1 and has just been presented at the end of 2022
Sixty-five years ago, in the midst of the Cold War, the Soviet Union announced to the world that it had launched the first artificial Earth satellite into space. This small metal sphere with four long external antennas was given the friendly nickname Sputnik, which means "travel companion"in Russian.
The "Sputnik-1" watch has two direct links to the original Sputnik-1:
The design of its 24-hour dial is inspired by the sketch of the Soviet "Sputnik" watch designed by the Raketa watch manufacturer in 1974. This Soviet-era design was examined and approved by the design office that designed the real Sputnik-1!
Its dial is made of the same special alloy as the metal heat shield that covered the Sputnik-1 sphere: AMg6, an aluminum-magnesium alloy. The alloy reference is engraved on the lower part of the dial.
This edition is limited to 500 pieces, delivered first to Russia. The first five pieces of the first delivery will be deliverable in France in March 2022, if you wish to acquire it, we encourage you to reserve it now, some are already sold.

Rocket Leopard 24
Raketa "Leopard 24"
A watch with real submariner DNA!
Limited edition 300 pieces!
To make this 24-hour watch for Russian submariners, Raketa used metal from the submarine “Leopard” (Akula class). The metal was officially donated to Raketa by the shipyard currently in charge of the modernization of the “Leopard”. The metal comes from the outer hull of the Leopard.
This exceptional watch was developed with the help of the Captain Valery Dyakonov, pictured here, who knows this submarine particularly well: he supervised the launch work of the Leopard, led its sea trials and was its first commander until 1996. He still lives in St. Petersburg near Raketa. When he discovered the first example, he exclaimed: “For the first time in many years I am touching my submarine “Leopard”, and now it will stay with me forever!”
Each watch comes with a certificate confirming the origin of the metal, a commemorative badge bearing the “Leopard” submarine symbol, a complementary silicone strap and a tool to allow you to easily change the strap of your Leopard 24.
Legend of the inscriptions engraved on the bezel made from the metal of the Leopard submarine:

Raketa "Baikonur"
The Raketa Baikonur is a watch for cosmonauts designed in collaboration with cosmonaut Sergei Krikalev, it is equipped with the 24 hour caliber Avtomat 2624.Sergei Krikalev holds one of the records for the number of stays on the International Space Station (6 stays) and the time spent in orbit in total (803 days). He was awarded the titles of Hero of the Soviet Union and Hero of the Russian Federation. So he knows better than anyone what the ideal watch for cosmonauts should be. The new Baikonur has a special movement decoration.
In the absence of gravity, the automatic winding system of the watch cannot function in the space station and the cosmonauts must therefore use the manual winding function. This includes a special system that disengages the automatic winding module, in order to protect it and prevent premature wear during the time the watch is in space. The 24-hour dial allows the distinction between day and night on board the space station. The 24-hour dial also allows the watch to be used as a solar compass, by aligning the hour hand with the sun. This is useful in the event that the “Soyuz” spacecraft does not land in the right place in the Taiga and the spacecraft's electronic compass no longer works (which has already happened).

Raketa Tupolev
"Pilot TU-160"
Cooperation between Raketa and Tupolev aircraft manufacturer
Two models of automatic watches for pilots, running in 24 hours, were designed in collaboration with the engineers of the aircraft manufacturer “Tupolev”. Like the supersonic aircraft Tu-160, nicknamed the White Swan, the “Pilot Tu-160” watches are distinguished by a sober, practical design and unfailing reliability. The TU-160 model with the 24-hour caliber Avotmat 2624 has a dial running in 24 hours and was developed to allow reading the time when it is difficult to distinguish night from day, as is the case during high-altitude flights at over 17,000 meters or beyond the Arctic Circle. The second model, codenamed “Item 80”, is a limited edition of 200 pieces, the first 50 pieces being reserved for pilots of “Tu” aircraft. This watch has endured the most extreme tests during real flights in “Tu” bombers. The 24 H Avotmat 2624 caliber and its 24 H dial allow you to read the time during flights of more than 15 hours at high altitude when the curvature of the earth makes it difficult to distinguish night from day.

Polar Vintage 35mm
Reissue of the historic model
"Polar 0270" of the fiftieth anniversary
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the legendary Raketa “Polar” and the 200th anniversary of the discovery of Antarctica by Russian polar explorers, the Raketa Watch Manufacturer has decided to relaunch the production of this historic model.
In 1969, Raketa Watch Factory was commissioned to design and produce a specialized watch for the polar explorers of the 16th Soviet Antarctic Expedition. As this frozen continent experiences polar day and night for successive periods of 6 months each year, the watch had to be not only robust but also have a “24-hour” mechanism to distinguish day from night. Raketa Watch Factory delivered this order of watches in 1970, in time for the departure of the polar expedition. This Soviet watch, with its highly original design, quickly became an iconic model sought after by collectors around the world.
Limited to 200 copies, this reissue is in accordance with the original technical drawings and plans which had been kept in the Manufacture's archives.
Attention! According to the standards of current watchmaking fashion, this 35 mm watch is more of a "Lady" size!

Raketa Submariner
This 24-hour watch inspired by a Soviet model was designed for Russian submariners. Based in Peterhof next to the naval bases of Saint Petersburg, the “Raketa” Watch Factory has often produced watches for Russian submariners and is now continuing this tradition with various models. The movement is the famous Avtomat 2624 presented above and the 24-hour dial of this watch, protected by a sapphire crystal, allows submariners to distinguish day from night in the depths of the sea. Thanks to the luminescent coating of the hands and numerals, the time can be read in the darkness of the submarine. The 44 mm case is, as it should be, water-resistant to 200 meters. A new model with a black dial, proudly featuring the drawing of a Russian submarine, has also recently been presented and completes this military collection.

Raketa Amphibia
The movement sports a specific decoration called "Neva Coast"!
The Raketa “Amphibia” was designed on the basis of a legendary Soviet Raketa model from the 1970s. Today the “Raketa” Watch Manufacture has perfected this diving watch. The 43 mm case is made of stainless steel, the dial, whose hands and indexes are covered with a luminescent material, is protected by a sapphire crystal. The maximum immersion depth is 400 meters (40 ATM). A 15-minute graduated scale on the rotating ceramic bezel allows you to monitor the oxygen level in the diver's tank. The screw-down crown prevents the diver from accidentally opening it underwater.

Raketa
Avant Garde 0279
This is not a watch,
It's art in motion!
Raketa continues the pioneering Russian tradition in avant-garde art, experimenting with colorful abstract shapes: the watch thus resembles an avant-garde painting!
But this painting is not frozen in time. On the contrary, as time passes, its composition changes, animated by the circular movement of geometric shapes moving on the dial at different speeds. Each time you look at your wrist, you will see a new composition to which you can give a different meaning according to your mood and imagination.
Raketa has transformed a watch into “art in motion”! Welcome to the avant-garde!
The Avtomat 2615 automatic movement, produced entirely at the Raketa Watch Factory, turns these geometric shapes above the dial.

"Raketa Avant Garde"
Redesigned by filmmaker Emir Kusturica!
Famous all over the world, the Russian Avant-garde influenced the entire European artistic culture. The famous director Emir Kusturica, a great admirer of Russian culture and art, revisited the spirit of the Russian avant-garde. The “Avant-garde” watch attracts attention with the expressiveness of its lines, just like the paintings of a Malevich, a Kandinsky or any other talented Russian avant-garde artist.
Round and triangular hands, typical shapes of avant-garde art, run across the dial. Their smooth running is ensured by the automatic movement “Raketa – Avtomat 2615”, which is entirely manufactured by the “Raketa” Watch Factory in St. Petersburg.
The latest model produced in 2023 has a fully open case back over the movement.

A watch that beats to the rhythm of the Universe.

The matte metal dial is anthracite gray in color, with a 3D representation of the universe.
The watch is offered on a black leather strap.
Behind its discreet design lies a revolutionary concept: the idea that time should flow in harmony with nature. According to the laws of astronomy, the Earth rotates counterclockwise, the Moon rotates around the Earth in the same way, just as the Earth also rotates around the Sun.
The Raketa “Russian Code” watch reproduces this natural movement of the stars in the Universe by rotating all the hands in the opposite direction to the usual direction and thus underlines that the usual reading of time is not necessarily the most accurate!
You will see through the case back a decorated automatic movement, entirely manufactured and assembled at the Raketa watch factory in St. Petersburg.

The Classics
"Big Zero"
The original design of this watch dates back to the 1970s, and has become the icon of the Raketa style. During an official visit of Mikhail Gorbachev to Italy, journalists asked him what Perestroika meant for the USSR. Gorbachev replied that Russians had started their lives from scratch and, putting his words into action, he showed the number “0” displayed instead of “12” on his “Raketa” watch. Since then, the time reading on “Raketa” watches always starts at zero and not at 12. This is the trademark of Raketa and in particular the signature of the classic “Big Zero”.

Big Zero "Malevich 0273"
Many will hate it. Few will love it. This is exactly the goal of the Raketa factory in producing this "work".
This watch is the result of a collaboration with the State Tretyakov Gallery, the most important Russian national art museum.
Raketa did not try to create a beautiful watch, but designed a radically abstract watch that does not follow the conventions of classical aesthetics. Just like the Russian avant-garde artist Kasimir Malevich when he painted the most abstract painting in the world in 1915: the Black Square.
When asked to explain the meaning of his absurd Black Square, Malevich replied that it symbolized a “Big Zero”: the end of the previous period of art evolution and the beginning of a new artistic reality devoid of any association with our physical world. At first, most people hated this avant-garde painting. Over time, it had a huge influence on contemporary art and became one of the most iconic paintings in the world.
Most people won't like this watch. But those who are willing to break away from the traditional classic and enter a new aesthetic reality created from scratch will love it. Just like Malevich's Black Square.
The dial was handmade in the form of a mosaic of 3 different stones: black jade, white jade and violet. The natural pattern of the stone is reminiscent of the cracks that appeared over the years on Malevich's canvas. This makes each watch absolutely unique. The automatic movement of the watch is manufactured at the Raketa Watch Factory in St. Petersburg. Part of the proceeds are donated to the State Tretyakov Gallery.

"Raketa-Sukhoi"
Pilot's watch with date, designed in collaboration with the “Sukhoi” design bureau
Russian aeronautics giant “Sukhoi” turned to the watchmakers of the “Raketa” Watch Factory to design a watch for the pilots of the Russian Su-25 attack aircraft. This collaboration resulted in the Raketa “Sukhoi” watch that withstands extreme variations in the load factor in flight aboard the legendary Su-25. On this new Avtomat 2616 caliber with date, it appears on the dial in a window inside the famous “zero”, a distinctive sign of “Raketa” watches. The stainless steel watch case with a diameter of 43 mm, has a rotating bezel and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, as well as a transparent screw-down caseback. It is water-resistant to 200 meters and has a screw-down crown.
